Matua House Bathroom

This bathroom renovation was exciting – originally three separate rooms, these areas were amalgamated to create one luxurious bathroom. Sense of space is prevalent, created in this case by a large walk-in shower and freestanding bath. Finishes are honed and subtle, tundra grey tiles speak to the palette of the handmade Zellige wall tiles. Concrete Nation vessel basins become a focal feature, and bathroom fixtures in beautiful, aged brass tie into the natural tones. The custom-made vanity unit is more than just practical; cleverly concealed within the cabinetry is a laundry chute, which is a fun nod to the age of the property. For a streamlined finish power points have been concealed and additional storage has been crafted behind mirrors, adding to the bespoke feel. Task lighting over the vanities creates the finishing touch.
